Why is Envision wealth planning Subscription-BASED?

“Commission-based versus fee-based versus fee-only,” are you confused yet? Depending on who you talk to, there are pros and cons to each of these methods. The subscription-based model is the back bone to the holistic planning and investment strategy of Envisioneering®. We want to help our clients reach financial health and we find providing investment opportunities is better than outsourcing it. This creates a deeper and more sustainable relationship with our clients.

DO I NEED TO HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY IN MY BANK ACCOUNT TO WORK WITH A FINANCIAL PLANNER?

No. We work with a wide range of clients. Because we are subscription based, we do not require a minimum income or investible assets. Some of our clients are wealthy and come to us for investing, while others are in debt. We’re happy to discuss working with you regardless of your financial status.  

WHAT DOES THE SUBSCRIPTION PRICING LOOK LIKE?

In your free discovery meeting you will see the following pricing visual. Prices start at $600 per meeting and the subscription tracks determine the services included.  Track pricing is determined according to individual complexity and need. A quoted price will be given at the end of the free discovery meeting.

We also have a Student Loan Repayment Service that is available alone at $2,400. If it is added on to a pre-existing Advanced or Premium track, the price is discounted to $1,200.

Can i just invest with envision wealth?

We require a minimum of $100,000 in investable assets if a client would like to only invest with us. The fee ranges from 1.0% to 1.25% depending on the portfolio. Learn about our different portfolios here.

With your investment, you will be able to meet with your advisor once a year for free which will include updates on your returns and education on financial health. 

Can I request references from your current clients before giving you my information?

We appreciate that giving your financial details to a stranger can be scary. Our client and prospect confidentiality is very important to us, which is why we can’t offer client contact information to provide references. CAN I USE ENVISION WEALTH PLANNING SERVICES IF I AM NOT IN CHICAGO?

While our office is based in Chicago, we have clients all over the United States. If you are a resident in one of the 50 states or the US territories, you are eligible for our financial planning services. Here is our current map of clients!

 WHAT Determines the Complexity and Need of My Case?

Ultimately, your advisor decides the complexity of the case. Some of the factors considered are marital filing status, living outside of the United States, account types, etc. Your needs may include long-term care for parents or children with special needs, debt repayment, sudden wealth, or business assistance. These special circumstances require more time and consideration as well as resources. Our complexity assessment is similar but not limited to the following example:

What Happens after my initial track Meetings?

After you have built your plan with your advisor, you are moved to “ongoing.” Pro Track clients will be reminded once a year for a check-in meeting. Advanced or Premium track clients will be reminded every trimester to schedule a check-in meeting. For life events or sudden needs,  clients can always schedule an appointment. 

WHAT DOES Ongoing Pricing look like?

While the meetings are on an annual and trimester schedule, we charge a monthly fee based on the complexity of your case. The minimum of $100 a month for Pro covers education, an annual review, and any finance software tools you will need to execute your plan. Starting at $200  a month for Advanced and $300  a month for Premium, clients will have access to trimester meetings, exclusive software like Holistaplan, and more detailed education.

Why do I NEED ongoing?

Our planning model specializes in a holistic view of you, which also includes your life all year round. There are so many changes in the finance world; not to mention seasonal and life events. Not all of them can be covered in your inaugural meetings. We use the first meetings to create and launch your plan and the ongoing meetings allow you to implement the plan with modifications along the way.
