Joaquin brings a unique and dynamic background in psychology and financial planning to the table. He’s served the community as a first responder for 12 years on the Chicago Police Department. His tenure has delivered unparalleled service balanced with fairness, compassion, and integrity. Yet, Joaquin still wanted to make a bigger impact—specifically helping those that struggle financially due to a lack of exposure to a strong financial education. With this end in mind, Joaquin studied financial planning at Saint Xavier University and pursued certification as a Certified Financial Planner.
Ultimately, Joaquin’s goal is to support people historically neglected by the financial industry due to their lack of investable assets. Seeking a firm that aligned with his values, he found Envision Wealth Planning and began working as an investment advisor. Envision Wealth Planning’s fiduciary approach puts our clients’ best interests at the forefront, just as the term “fiduciary” requires.
Joaquin has a heart for helping people overcome the fears and stigma when it comes to discussing their financial well-being. He strives to empower people from many walks of life—from blue-collared first responders to small business owners to middle-class workers. He recognizes the need for honest, unbiased, sound financial advice, and he’s committed to giving our clients the tools and knowledge needed to build a strong legacy today and for future generations.
